This chardonnay is picked early to retain natural acidity and citrus flavours. Unique structure, blended with a small portion of unoaked wine to increase the fresh lifted fruit on the palate. The result of a 5 year discovery of Hunter Valley Chardonnay.
The style of this chardonnay is textural and savoury. The crisp, mineral characters of the fruit are supported by complex flavours of oak and lees maturation.
An opulent, creamy palate is underpinned by a beautiful line of acidity and a long lingering finish. With careful cellaring this Chardonnay will continue to develop beautifully, or enjoy its youthful vibrancy now.
