2021 was a cracking year for Chardonnay in the Hunter and this wine has pure fruit notes of white peach and citrus, well integrated oak and a textured palate.
The style of this chardonnay is textural and savoury. The crisp, mineral characters of the fruit are supported by complex flavours of oak and lees maturation.
A complex bouquet of citrus and peach fruit characters. Barrel fermentation adding charred oak and cashew nut to the nose and palate. The flavours of stone fruit and lemon zest are sustained with fresh acid and toasty oak in a rich well structured wine.
