A beautiful, lighter style of Chardonnay from winemakers Damien and Jodie. Packed with florals, white spice and dried herbs on the nose. On the palate it is an unctuous, totally textural wine, with almonds and butterscotch and an underlying lovely citrus line of acidity.
Classic fine aromatic signatures of ripe lemon with traces of perfumed lime, and pretty aromatic hints of white flower. As usual, this wine shows lithe texture and vibrant persistence, conferring wonderful pedigree and potential.
A classic blend that showcases the harmonious union between Hunter Valley Shiraz and cool-climate Pinot Noir from Orange. Juicy and approachable, this wine has abundant flavour with bright aromas of red fruits and spice and a juicy palate of mulberries with soft, savoury tannins.
The 2018 Old Vines is a single vineyard wine that is sumptuous and stylistically different to most Shiraz in the Valley. It is medium bodied, super elegant, fruit driven and bright cherry red in the glass.
Dirt Candy wines are made by Hunter Valley Couple Daniel and Jenni Payne. Due to the fires in 2020 “The Outsider” is a collaborative wine made with a winemaking friend from South Australia. We love the apple and pear aromas and the fantastic textural palate.
The flagship of Carillion Wines, this beautiful wine has a rich and complex palate of red and black fruits derived from maturation in French oak puncheons. Medium bodied yet intense, this Shiraz is approachable on release and will continue to reward with extended cellaring.
A progressive and elegant style of Hunter Valley Chardonnay. Aromas of melon and preserved citrus peel are layered with toasty oak to complete the nose. The palate is long and restrained with notes of citrus and creamy mouth feel delivering a wine with great persistence and body.
This perfect summer wine showcases the union between Hunter Valley Semillon and cool climate Sauvignon Blanc from Orange. The classic blend fuses the bold tropical and gooseberry aromatics so typical of Sauvignon Blanc with the mouth-watering lime and zingy acidity of Hunter Semillon.
A rare but amazing Riesling vineyard in the centre of Pokolbin. It's age and unique soil and aspect produce a wine that is delicate with lifted lime flavours and a crisp green apple finish. Varietal lime and musk characters make this a deliciously more-ish wine.
Our Viognier grapes are sourced from a single vineyard in the Broke Fordwich sub region of the Hunter Valley. The wine tantalises from start to finish. Opening with the delicate taste of pears then segueing into the fuller flavours of honeysuckle and apricot. The finish is crisp with a rich, lingering mouth feel.
