A progressive and elegant style of Hunter Valley Chardonnay. Aromas of melon and preserved citrus peel are layered with toasty oak to complete the nose. The palate is long and restrained with notes of citrus and creamy mouth feel delivering a wine with great persistence and body.
Gold Medal at the 2018, 2019 & 2021 Hunter Valley Wine Shows. This beautiful Semillon shows the classic aromas of lemon and lime with a touch of bay leaf. The palate is all Hunter Valley Semillon, packed with generous, mouth-watering lemony fruit depth, touches of chalk and lanolin, and vibrant acidity.
A light frizzante style of sparkling with beautiful flavours of pear, white peach and lemon citrus. White floral notes give the wine a lovely lift. The acid profile is crunchy with zesty fresh finish that makes this the perfect lunchtime wine. Enjoy!
Sometimes it just has to be Champagne. This is a beautiful blend of the classic Champagne varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. A seriously good Champagne for that special occasion.
Deep salmon pink in colour, with a fine effervescence, the nose delivers fresh strawberry and red currant aromas on with citrus blossom on the finish. The palate has generous red berry flavours, finishing soft and round with a touch of citrus.
This Semillon allows for a touch more ripeness than most Hunter Semillons and whilst this ensures the wine can be enjoyed as a young wine, the great structure ensures its longevity.It is characterised by an intense citrus and lemongrass nose and a generous middle palate with a long, crisp finish.
A delicately flavoured, bright and crisp in its youth but with careful cellaring, develops into a richly layered and complex wine. Equally at home, simply sipping with friends or perfectly matched to Australia's finest, fresh seafood, you're sure to enjoy one of the Hunter Valley's finest.
Made by Ollie Margan, the Breaking Ground range was developed to place emphasis on echoing the soils in which they were grown.
Classic fine aromatic signatures of ripe lemon with traces of perfumed lime, and pretty aromatic hints of white flower. As usual, this wine shows lithe texture and vibrant persistence, conferring wonderful pedigree and potential.
The renowned Dairy Hill block consistently produces the best Semillon for Briar Ridge each year and the 2019 vintage was no exception. With Kaffir lime leaf and lemongrass aromas and flavours, enjoy this crisp, elegant wine now or cellar this sleeping beauty over the long-term (if you can wait).
