(Dozen) The Hunter can produce standout Cabernet with power, structure and balance when grown on the right vineyard. From 50-year-old vines and a fantastic vintage this is one to grab. 

The fruit was cool fermented to preserve primary fruit characters and pressed to old French oak where it matured for 9 months. Constant evaluation during time in barrel ensured that we bottled this wine at the perfect time.

The result is a fruit driven softer style of wine with subtle integrated oak with plenty of vibrant fruit and a soft finish. The palate is rich in ripe fruit with a touch of savoury cigar box with soft tannins adding length for a silky finish.
