The first vineyard planted by Margans almost three decades ago on the slope above the winery. As mature vines they are now showing a unique style that is captured in this a single vineyard Ceres Hill Semillon label.

Grown on grey alluvial clay over sandstone, the low topsoil and high sand content results in a lower nutrition environment yielding small bunches and berries. Handpicked, whole bunch pressed and cold settled overnight before fermenting with wild yeast in stainless steel. The wine shows a complex aromatic profile that will reward cellaring.
