Allandale 2018 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Fruit for the wine was sourced from the St Michael’s Vineyard in Mudgee, NSW. The fruit was crushed and fermented in a traditional open fermenter and was hand plunged daily. The resulting wine is beautifully varietal with subtle aromas of herbaceous mint with a palate that is rich with cherry fruit weight, toasty oak notes and defined by an intense tannin structure to finish. This is a full bodied wine and can be cellared for up to 10 years, decant prior to serving.
