Each year we pitch Australia's most iconic wine, Penfolds Grange against three of our local icons. This year sees another stellar Grange, the 2012, up against our Hunter Valley icons. As many of you will recall, 2012 was a very poor vintage in the Hunter but we didn't want to miss seeing the 2012 '100point' Grange so we have opted to put it against our 2013s.
These four incredible wines will be presented to you in Riedel glassware as a 'blind' bracket. Name the wines correctly and you will enter in the draw to win an Icon Pack valued at over $500!

The Grand Masterclass
The highlight of our Grange series, this is an indulgence of fine red wine, great food and excellent company. The afternoon begins with a Grange Masterclass led by none other than Iain Riggs AM followed by a superb lunch showcasing our winemakers' stellar 2018 reds.
For the Masterclass you will be presented with a bracket of four wines: the show stopping ‘100 point’ 2012 Grange plus three of our Hunter Valley icons: 2013 Brokenwood Graveyard Shiraz, 2013 Briar Ridge Dairy Hill Shiraz and 2013 De Iuliis Limited Release Shiraz.
This year we are very honoured to have Iain Riggs AM hosting the Grand Grange Masterclass. A Hunter Valley, Australian & international legend, Iain has been at the helm of Brokenwood for over 35 years. One of his many achievements for Brokenwood include the elevation of Brokenwood's Graveyard Shiraz to the highest category of ‘Exceptional’ in the Langton's Classification of Australian wine.
After the Masterclass you will be served a cleansing glass of sparkling on the terrace before being treated to a stellar lunch with a menu designed by chef Andy Wright to showcase our winemakers' 2018 vintage reds.
